Learn to Earn: Because Looking Good Never Goes Out of Style

The Butte Academy of Beauty Culture Inc. is in the business of preparing students for the world of work in the Cosmetology profession. Classes are held from 8:30-5:00 Tuesday through Friday, and 8:00 to 4:30 on Saturday. All students enrolled are full time and are required to attend 40 hours per week. The course is 2,000 hours which is broken into consecutive 1,000 hour academic years with no major breaks or vacations, at this rate most students complete the course in 12 to 17 months.
On graduating from the Academy the student will be prepared to take the Montana State Board Exam, be able to demonstrate the skills for employment as a Cosmetologist, Hair Stylist, Manicurist, or Esthetician; be able to demonstrate the most current cosmetology trends and techniques; be able to relate the numerous facets of the Cosmetology Profession to any related employment position. Integrity and courteous conduct is expected of the student toward fellow students, patrons, and the staff. |
